Objectives

 Upon completion of this training module the student will;

  • Be able to define what constitutes an aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS).
  • Know what safety cautions should be observed while working on aircraft wiring.
  • Be familiar with 767 Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive procedures.
  • Know what type of information can be found in the SWPM, AMM, WDM, and the SSM that relates to EWIS.
  • Understand the most common causes of wiring degradation.
  • Be familiar with proper wiring installation techniques.
  • Know how to protect aircraft wiring systems from damage when performing aircraft maintenance.
