Objectives

Upon completion of this training module the student will;

Be able to define what constitutes an aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS).
Know what safety cautions should be observed while working on aircraft wiring.
Be familiar with 767 Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive procedures.
Know what type of information can be found in the SWPM, AMM, WDM, and the SSM that relates to EWIS.
Understand the most common causes of wiring degradation.
Be familiar with proper wiring installation techniques.
Know how to protect aircraft wiring systems from damage when performing aircraft maintenance.
